Few lampworkers can claim almost 40 years of experience. Suellen Fowler, who began her flamework career at age 13, can – and her work shows it.
Fowler specializes in working with glass at the end of a blowpipe. She mixes her glass colors herself (in the flame) which is just one of the elements that contribute to the uniqueness of her work.
You can see Fowler's work several of the fine glass-art galleries, the Museum of American Glass, the Corning Museum of Glass, and many other collections internationally.
