London-based Contemporary Glass Society (CGS) describes themselves this way:
The Contemporary Glass Society was founded in 1997 with the dual objectives of encouraging excellence in glass as a creative medium and helping to develop a greater awareness of Contemporary Glass world-wide.
Among their goals, they include fostering "critical debates" and "promot[ing] the cross flow of ideas, information and news regarding contemporary glass."
