New Glass Review Competition 28
Arguably one of the most prestigious and important juried glass competition, the annual New Glass Review, now in its 28th year, is again upon us.
As in past years, Corning Museum of Glass (CMOG) worldwide competition aims to select "100 slides of innovative works in glass." The results are published in the New Glass Review full color catalog with juror's statements and more.
The standards under which work is reviewed are unchanged: "[o]bjects considered excellent from any of several viewpoints — such as function, subject matter, esthetics, and technique — will be chosen."
For the first time, though, Corning will accept digital images submitted on CD-ROM.
Work must be created between October 1, 2005 and September 15, 2006. All slides and images become the property of Corning's Rakow Research Library.
Deadline for entry is October 1, 2006.
