The Guilford Art Center in Connecticut has announced their biennial glass exhibit, North American Glass 2006, juried by James Mongrain. Mongrain is a highly regarded glass blower and worked as one of Dale Chihuly's gaffers on several famous installations and projects.
Artists may submit up to three pieces to be juried by slide including one full view and one detail of each piece. Applications are due by January 27, 2006. The fee is $25.00 for up to three entries.
Notifications will be mailed out by February 21. The exhibit is scheduled to run May 14 through June 25, 2006. Cash Awards totaling $1,000 will be awarded by the juror.
