Established in 1981 in Cambria, California (about half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco), Seekers Glass Gallery offers studio glass artwork by over 250 artists – both established and emerging.
Where many art galleries take work only on consignment, Seekers purchases work directly from the artists. This not only provides Seekers with what the owners call "the leverage necessary to obtain the very best pieces the artists are capable of creating", it also demonstrates conviction and committment that is sometimes difficult to find galleries today.
Their approach clearly works. Seekers Glass Gallery has been included in Niche Magazine's annual "Top 100 Retailers of American Craft" every year since 1995.
