Considered one of the more talented living paperweight artists, Debbie Tarsitano's work is part of many private and public glass collections.
Tarsitano got started in glass working with her father (also highly regarded) Delmo Tarsitano. Her work is similar in many ways to that of Paul Stankard.
In describing her work, Tarsitano writes in her artist statement: "If I had to define my work over the last 30 years I would say it was eclectic in nature, always different. However one prevalent theme is peaceful, idyllic designs, which address a sentimental side of life. My work is often a fantasy world of color, light and emotion."
