Scheduled to be unveiled at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis in March, 2006, Fireworks of Glass will be the largest permanent sculpture Dale Chihuly has ever created.
The sculpture will be constructed over 2,500 pieces of blown glass and will rise 43 feet through the museums five story atrium.
The installation will also include a Fireworks of Glass Ceiling, an interactive glass display, and a rotating floor beneath the sculpture on which visitors can stand, sit or lie.
