Neil Ryan has long been a significant supporter and collector of glass art in Texas. His websites, Contemporary Glass In Texas and Texas Glass Today are labors of love intended on promoting glass art created in a state better known for cowboy hats, oil and Democrats who occasionally hide in Oklahoma in order to deny the majority Republicans a congressional quorum.
Now, joined by David Pollard, the two have launched Glass Art Texas -- an online gallery of glass for sale from Texas artists. Glass Art Texas currently features work by over 20 artists (including yours truly) working with fused, blown, and lampworked glass as well as neon and other media.
