Optical Glass

Optical glass is completely transparent. It has neither defects nor uneven stress. These characteristics reduce the light refraction, leaving the glass as "invisible" as possible.

Optical glass is favored by glass artists when the seeing through or into the glass is a primary design element. Use by artists is most common in cast and laminated sculptural work.
